Princess Diana and the tragic circumstances of her premature demise are being rehashed in a brand new docuseries, “The Diana Investigations”, on Discovery+ this month. The four-part collection, accessible to stream on Aug. 18, interviews the French and British key gamers who investigated the automobile crash that killed Diana in 1997 – and the occasions surrounding it – offering new perception and never-before-heard particulars.
In an ominous trailer launched on Friday, the affect of press protection and the web, in its infancy on the time, are highlighted as investigators reference conspiracy theories and questions of whether or not Diana’s demise was actually unintentional.
“That is about lies,” one investigator tells the digicam, holding a newspaper in his hand. “It’s not the reality. This isn’t the reality.”

This newest Diana doc comes simply weeks after Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry and the royal household received a formal apology from BBC director normal Tim Davie over Princess Diana’s bombshell 1995 “Panorama” interview.
In the meantime, HBO may also launch a brand new documentary highlighting Princess Diana’s life within the highlight this month. “The Princess”, which premiered on the 2022 Sundance Movie Competition, will air Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and can stream on HBO Max.
